KG: The information in an e-mail is confidential. It is intended solely for the recipient(s). Any disclosure of the content to other persons or institutions requires the consent of the sender. Any intentional or unintentional action against this may be unlawful and may be subject to legal prosecution by S.I.T. Secure Internet Traffic GmbH & Co. KG, referred to as S.I.T. hereafter. If this message is not intended for you, please notify the sender immediately and delete this e-mail. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that plain messages transmitted via the internet are not protected against falsification, manipulation or unauthorized access. The confidentiality of the information within the email may be corrupted by this. For this reason outgoing emails are signed centrally at the S.I.T. email gateway. This method is suitable to protect against manipulation of the information or sending with false sender address. | However legally binding effect cannot be derived from this technical solution. The public part of the key that is used to sign these messages is available here. Via this access the public keys of other S.I.T. employees are also available. Currently the methods PGP and S/MIME are supported. These methods are suitable to secure the confidentiality of information included in emails during transmission. If requested all email traffic from S.I.T. to your email address can be automatically encrypted. This requires that a valid public key is provided. Please take into consideration, that this policy may be subject to unannounced change at any time. Any letter of intend has to be drawn up in writing. If a letter of intend is transmitted by means of electronic communication media (i.e. email) the form my not comply with the required legal obligations. This may only be the case if both parties have expressed their consent to proceed in this manner. June 2005 |
