21.01.2008 | CompanyCRYPT version 1.4.0 available

The new CompanyCRYPT-Version not only has become increasingly powerful, comfortable and overall better. Also a completely revised administration interface, new encryption scenarios and a completely hands-off key import has been integrated.

This and more features are now available:

Fully automatic import of keys and certificates
Administration of trusted issuer in a dedicated Trusted-CA-Store
Comprehensive signature validation across the whole chain of issuer
Support for new types of trustcenter certificates
Universal encryption scenarios, like "Best Effort" or "Always Encrypt"
Restructured administrative interface with practical Start-Up centre
Integrated Update-Check
Improved Decrypt Summary (HTML) and graphically enhanced email templates
Keyserver features extended for internal users
SyncManager for easy integration into distributed MIMEsweeper cluster

11.06.2007 | CompanyCRYPT v1.3.0 (495) MaintenancePack released

With the MaintenancePack you can update your CompanyCRYPT to the latest release version of CompanyCRYPT. This MaintenancePack is for updating only CompanyCRYPT versions 1.3.0 and above. Further information are provided in the enclosed readme document.

08.12.2006 | CompanyCRYPT Security update released to fix GnuPG exploit

Another security update package has been released by GnuPG developers to fix the most recently detected exploit. Using malformed OpenPGP packets an attacker is theoretically able to execute arbitrary code. This exploit may be triggered by either using encrypted or signed data.

A Security update for CompanyCRYPT to update the fixed GnuPG module to version 1.4.6 is available in the Download Area.

17.02.2006 | CompanyCRYPT is not affected by the security related bug in GNUPG

According to the GnuPG developers the problem only occurs if the verifying process relies exclusively on the return code. Since CompanyCRYPT has always been using the text based GnuPG 'status report' (--status-fd) for evaluation, there has been no security leak at any time.

31.01.2006 | CompanyCRYPT v1.2.0 - Manual updated

The manual for CompanyCRYPT v1.2 has been reviewed and updated. Also English translations for the 'Installation Guide' and the 'Configuration Guide' are now availible.

19.01.2006 | CompanyCRYPT v1.2.0 Hotfix 324 released

This HotFix solves a problem with the automatic key synchronisation. Under special conditions the synchronisation may 'hang' without resolving itself. However it is only relevant in distributed environments. This issue is being solved by this HotFix.

21.12.2005 | CompanyCRYPT v1.2.0 released

The new version 1.2.0 is now available and can be downloaded as an installer as well as an upgrade from version 1.1.7.

The new version 1.2.0 now fully supports the clustering ability of the MIMEsweeper. CompanyCRYPT is administrated on the 'Master' and the configuration along with the key material is automatically distributed to all 'Slave' systems. Furthermore CompanyCRYPT v1.2.0 offers an automatic key generation that is controlled by a reference list from the internal groupware. The operational safety has been improved by adding a complete system backup and restore functionality accessed via the web based interface.
