The Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway's powerful content-inspection engine is twinned with an easy-to-use policy centre to assist with development of effective email-use policies. Ready-made template policies ensure that the Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway is fit to perform from the moment it is deployed.
Creating new policies, or modifying policy templates, is a quick and straightforward process. The rules can be tailored at user level to better manage how email messages are shared, stored and distributed. To ensure consistency and save time on administration, policies are linked to directory servers and update transparently across multiple and SECURE Email Gateway installations.
Integrated Email Encryption
The Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway can also be used to send and receive encrypted email in a number of different industry standard formats, namely S/MIME, PGP and also using an ad-hoc method of password protection. Encrypted messages can be decrypted and then passed to the content inspection engine to ensure no information is leaking out inadvertently. Flexible policies for email encryption permit messages to be encrypted by direction or by content.

The Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway includes several unique Clearswift technologies to fend off spam, ensure content cleanliness and to keep messages moving freely.
Powerful reporting and management
The Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway includes powerful management and reporting tools, including message-tracking and granular user level quarantine controls. These are all accessed from the same, simple web-based interface. Pre-defined reports are easily modified and can be executed across multiple Clearswift SECURE Email Gateways for a consolidated view of user activity. |
