Microdasys Inc. located in Las Vegas was founded in 2001. With their product SCIP Proxy Microdasys makes it possible for anti virus products or content scanner to inspect encrypted streams of data. Many internet sessions are encrypted with HTTPS on SSL or TLS. However content scanner or AV programs are usually unable to check encrypted streams of data for viruses. At that point SCIP Proxy checks the encrypted data stream, passes it on to the AV or content scanner, encrypts it again and sends it on to the recipient. This validation works in real time.
